The Effects of Regime Change in the Arab World
June 16-June 29, 2013 in Amman

Jointly offered by the German-Jordanian University in Amman,
and the Center for Global Politics at Freie Universität Berlin.

CURRICULUM
The modules offered during this intensive short-term program will provide students with an insight
into recent developments in the Middle East. A special focus will be put on their impact on the
relationship between the different Arab countries, the EU and their respective civil societies. The
modules will touch upon new approaches to global politics, the interplay between media and
politics and regional responses to political challenges. The exchange of views and ideas will include
input from German and Jordanian academics and students.

ADMISSION

Your background:

ıı final year of undergraduate studies or first academic degree (B.A. or equivalent)

EXPENDITURES
There are no tuition fees. Participants are responsible for their own travel and living expenses.
Travel stipends are available to students from Jordan (outside of Amman), Syria, and Lebanon.
