This is my second day here in UB, as most people call the city. So not many words but I just some emotions, which came up during my first experience:
Dry, very dry air
Lots of vehicles (they told me that from Monday to Friday not all cars are allowed to drive; there is a special rule which car can drive on which day).
Blue sky (for now; in winter with the smog everything will be different)
Feels strange and not familiar
The air is very bad and it will even get worse in winter
I live in the western part of the city, which is divided into so-called “Khoroos”. My one is the Khoroo 1 and I live right next to the school, which is awesome because in winter I do not have to walk long or take a cap (which we should not do alone…)
I got a whole list of what do better not do here…
So let’s see how my picture of UB will develop during the following 5 month….
