In May we attended a derby between the local clubs “Levski” and “CSKA”. I must admit that I made some better decisions in my life than going to that match.
Well first, I’m not an expert of football, but even I could see that it wasn’t a well-played match by any means. Furthermore, people were really aggressive, wearing a lot of racist symbols, used a lot of pyrotechnics and lighted fire in the stadium stand. I was really shocked by the way people behaved – they even attacked the players of their team after the match. Let alone the physical fights of the fans in close to the stadium.
I attended football matches in Germany and Italy before but this match was completely different
So, football matches in Sofia.. not my thing at all.
at least, we went out with lovely people and a cute dog afterwards 🙂
