Okay, the Oscars are over. This film was nominated for Best Animated Short, but didn’t win. Still “Blind Vaysha” by Theodore Ushev (a Bulgarian who lives in Canada) is a fantastic film. It’s based on a short story by Georgi Gospodinov, a Bulgarian author I like a lot. The music is by Kottarashky, a Bulgarian musician. Enjoy!
It tells the story of Vaysha. Her left eye sees only the past and her right sees only the future. That’s why she is not able to live in the present.
