Why not flying to Ethiopia and taking part in an exciting research project during your semester break? As part of World Bank\u2019s Women Entrepreneurship Development Project (WEDP), the Frese Group of Leuphana University of L\u00fcneburg (Germany) implements an action-oriented entrepreneurship training for women entrepreneurs in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A comprehensive impact evaluation seeks to improve our understanding about whether and how training affects business success of growth-oriented women entrepreneurs. In the context of this research, the study \u201cDynamics between women entrepreneurs and their husbands in Ethiopia\u201d aims to shed light on the husband\u2019s and marriage\u2019s influence on training and business success.<\/p>\n<p>For the second round of the data collection, we look for a motivated candidate who would like to join our research team. The candidate will coordinate a team of Ethiopian interviewers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being part of a professional and international research team<\/li>\n<li>Gaining new experiences during your field stay in an inspiring country<\/li>\n<li>Writing your Bachelor- or Master thesis about the project<\/li>\n<li>Flight ticket<\/li>\n<li>Allowance for local transport and accommodation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your tasks include: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinating and supervising the data collection<\/li>\n<li>Managing the team of Ethiopian interviewers<\/li>\n<li>Recruiting and training new interviewers (as needed)<\/li>\n<li>Supervising interviews (as needed)<\/li>\n<li>Collecting, checking and recording completed interviews (data entry)<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and updating the study supervisor about challenges and progress<\/li>\n<li>Administrative responsibilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We look for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A motivated student who shows a high degree of personal initiative and a high sense of responsibility<\/li>\n<li>High proficiency in spoken and written English<\/li>\n<li>Availability for a field stay of 3 months in Addis Ababa (starting as soon as possible, ideally before 15 July 2016)<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving skills, persistency, enthusiasm, and cultural sensitivity<\/li>\n<li>Advanced communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For further information and expression of interest, please contact Kathrin Wolf (<a href=\"mailto:kawolf@leuphana.de\">kawolf@leuphana.de<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear kulturweit-Alumni, Exams passed and seminar papers submitted?
