Als ich vor zwei Wochen in Armenien war und von einem Kloster zur\u00fcck nach Jerewan getrampt bin, haben mich zwei reizende, reisende Italiener ein St\u00fcck der Strecke mitgenommen.<\/p>\n<p>Da meine Reisepl\u00e4ne, zur\u00fcck in Tbilissi, mal wieder spontan gescheitert sind, musste ich meine Mitbewohnerin Marlies und ihren Kumpel Wannes, der sie gerade besucht,\u00a0\u00a0\u00fcberzeugen mit mir nach Tuschetien zu kommen. Bei einem Abendessen im Caf\u00e9 Littera habe ich das nat\u00fcrlich mit Links geschafft. (;<\/p>\n<p>Schon lange wollte ich der urspr\u00fcnglichsten und unber\u00fchrtesten Region des gro\u00dfen Kaukasus zwischen Tschetschenien und dem daghestanische Hochland einen Besuch abstatten.\u00a0Zug\u00e4nglich ist die faszinierend sch\u00f6ne Landschaft mit glasklaren B\u00e4chen und tiefgr\u00fcnen W\u00e4ldern jedoch erst in den Sommermonaten, da der\u00a02.950 Meter hohe &#8222;Abano Pass&#8220; passiert werden muss.<\/p>\n<p>Von S\u00e4tzen wie &#8222;Mara, mach das nicht, die Strecke ist mega gef\u00e4hrlich!&#8220; oder mir zugesandten Fotos, lie\u00df ich mich nicht abschrecken und wir st\u00fcrzten uns\u00a0in das Abenteuer. Und ganz ehrlich: der Mythos um diese Strecke ist wirklich \u00fcbertrieben und sie entpuppte sich als eine ganz normale, eben georgische Stra\u00dfe.\u00a0Trotzdem war ich froh, dass wir\u00a0das Wetter auf unserer Seite hatten.<\/p>\n<p>Von Tbilissi sind Wannes, Marlies und ich im Nu zum Beginn des Passes getrampt. Genau hier lag unser Gl\u00fcck. Ewigkeiten kam kein Auto vorbei, doch pl\u00f6tzlich sahen wir ein Fahrzeug kommen und es hielt auch noch an! Und wer sa\u00df drin? Die beiden Italiener aus Armenien! Marlies und Wannes, in einem Moment noch von unserer herzlichen Begr\u00fc\u00dfung verwundert, waren \u00fcbergl\u00fccklich mit der Mitfahrgelegenheit.<\/p>\n<p>Die zwei\u00a0charmanten Kerle nahmen uns nicht nur mit \u00fcber den Pass, nein. Sie zeigten uns Omalo, Schenako, Dartlo und Diklo &#8211;\u00a0mittelalterliche Bergd\u00f6rfer mit m\u00e4chtigen Wehrt\u00fcrmen und malerischen schiefergedeckten Steinh\u00e4usern, \u00a0in denen die Menschen noch leben wie vor vielen hundert Jahren. Sie erz\u00e4hlten uns, dass die Tuschen sp\u00e4ter das Christentum angenommen haben, aber ihren eigenen Glauben relativ unabh\u00e4ngig weiterleben. Sie f\u00fchrten uns zur\u00a0einzigen Kirche in Tuschetien und zu vielen kleine Heiligt\u00fcmern in freier Natur, die sogenannten &#8222;Chati&#8220;,\u00a0 an welchen\u00a0 noch immer in heidnischer Tradition den Naturg\u00f6ttern Opfer dargebracht werden. Sie nahmen uns\u00a0wieder mit zur\u00fcck ins Tal.
