Vorbei an Obst- und Gem\u00fcseh\u00e4ndlern, K\u00fchen, Schafen und Eseln fuhr ich mit Julia*, ihrem Hund Harry, Melle* und Dimitri (ein in Tiflis lebender Armenier) in dessen Auto durch Kachetien. Der Weg f\u00fchrte durch verstepptes, von Salzseen unterbrochenes H\u00fcgelland. Hier und da zogen Adler \u00fcber den verlassenen, halbbefestigten Stra\u00dfen ihre Kreise. Bei georgischer Musik, offenem Fenster und Sonnenstrahlen auf der Haut kam richtiges Roadtripfeeling auf.\u00a0 An der Grenze zu Aserbaidschan lag unser Ziel: Die H\u00f6hlenkl\u00f6ster von Davit Gareja &#8211; der \u00f6stliche Vorposten des historischen Christentums.<\/p>\n<p>Ein atemberaubender Tagesausflug lag hinter uns und selbstverst\u00e4ndlich wurden wir zum Schluss von Dimitri noch zum Essen eingeladen &#8211; das brauche ich ja gar nicht zu erw\u00e4hnen.<\/p>\n<p>Wisst ihr was das Sch\u00f6ne ist?
